Summer sizzle tournament

Annual All-Star Tournament Hosted by Navajo

Beginning in 2021, Navajo began hosting its own tournament during the All-Stars season, the SD Summer Sizzle. This June, we are excited to hold our 6th Summer Sizzle tournament at the Lake Murray softball fields for All-Stars Gold (USA Softball “B” Classified) teams from all over San Diego County.



Nestled between the blue water of Lake Murray and the height of Cowle’s Mountain, the Lake Murray fields are busy with non-stop softball games all weekend. All-Stars teams compete in the 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions with a two-game pool play that leads to a single elimination bracket play the following day (3-game guarantee).

Players win MVP medals in pool play and rings in bracket championships, and in between games, they enjoy shaved ice, buying t-shirts and croc pieces, and watching friends play on the fields.

This is a family affair as the NGF league along with its All-Stars families run the event to make sure you’re having some summer fun at the fields.

The Summer Sizzle Tournament will be held June 12–14, 2026, at the Navajo Girls Fastpitch fields in San Diego and is open to

USA Softball B-classified 8U, 10U, and 12U teams. Teams will compete in two games of pool play followed by

single-elimination brackets, guaranteeing a minimum of three games.
